Food

Our food is rooted in seasonality, classical technique, and a respect for British ingredients, with a strong emphasis on foraging and thoughtful preservation.

Dishes are simple in appearance but carefully layered, balancing comfort with refinement, and changing regularly to reflect what is best at any given moment.

Our menu changes in part on a weekly basis as ingredients come in and out of their peak season.

Our drinks offering centres on a relaxed but well-considered bar, supported by a focused wine list curated in partnership with Field & Fawcett in York and beers by Brass Castle in Malton.

The selection favours balance and drinkability, with wines chosen to work naturally with food rather than follow rigid pairing rules.

Alongside this sits a short list of classic cocktails, quality beers, and thoughtful non-alcoholic options, allowing guests to drink simply, stay for the evening, or explore the list in more depth.
